MOONPAW: A BLUE TRADITION

by June Ann D'Angelo and Bear

My first venture into pet parenthood happened about 6 years ago when I rescued my first cat, Mr. Zen B. Doodle.  Not long after, I decided he needed a buddy and rescued my second cat, Mr. Inky Z. Doodle and then I took a hiatus from the adoption pool. These guys moved from New Orleans to NYC with me and then over to the MidWest where we found St. Louis as our new home. Zen has struggled with bulimia his entire life and after trying different diets, we settled with the BLUE Buffalo diet. We love how BLUE Buffalo really took care in their formulation to use fewer quality ingredients instead of the disgusting processed fillers so many other brands use. This diet switch really helped in decreasing the amount of episodes Zen would have monthly. After I rescued my new Shepherd mix, Bear, I naturally started feeding him the BLUE Buffalo lamb and oatmeal puppy diet. He absolutely loves it just as much as the cats do!

Recently Bear had an appointment at his new vet to get his vaccinations and check-up just a few days shy of his 6 month birthday. Check out the pictures and Bear's experience below that was made all-the-more manageable for me because of the BLUE Buffalo BLUE BITS from Chewy.com that Bear was trying out for the first time!

my friend that feeds me was rather relieved when she received this package last week from chewy.com. anytime i see this sticker on a package, i get excited, too, because i know it's something for me! at the time i had no idea, but i think it had something to do with the fact that she was taking me to the vet the next day. she had know idea that i knew, but we can totally understand human talk and i totally heard her make the appointment. click the image below and find out all the cool stuff your friends can get you, too!

i like going on car rides, but i liked this one even better because i kept getting BLUE Bits treated to me. i was one super happy puppy! i'm glad this car ride took 30 minutes!

i was so excited to meet these ladies in their blue suits. they weighed me out to 32.4 pounds and then brought me to another room.

what is behind this door?

it's my new doctor, Dr. Toepke! he was super nice and gave me tons of love and petting...

well i'm all done and the vet was super fun because i got to eat a bunch of Blue Bits!!!

me and my friend even gave some Buffalo Blue Kitty Yums (which are Blue Bits for cats) and they loved them too and left me alone for a good while!

Hello, World!
