we all have one and i might have just found mine. this past week, i was able to secure funding for the bodytell project and get a big girl camera. i went with a nikon d5500 after talking to steve yancey, who i have deemed my photography spirit animal and will serve as photography consultant to the bodytell project.

so i have the camera, now i just need to know how to use it. steve was kind enough to set up different lighting scenarios and let me have my way with his muse, which has quickly become my first photo set and my brave little friend.
