ALIVE Magazine definitely set the tone at this opening event for STLFW...a tone of class, sophistication and fierce fashion! This was my second event to attend at Neiman Marcus and they never disappoint as a host. You know you will always have an endless amount of cocktails at the open bar and some of the tastiest little treats on this side of the Mississippi! And can we mention the major fashion moments of the evening? MAJOR!!! It was so great to hear from 3 huge names in fashion... Lisa Freede, Audrey McLoghlin for Frank & Eileen and Jonathan Simkhai! Here are some of my favorite moments from the evening...

With my fancy #STLFW signature cocktail and tasty layered cupcake dessert in hand, I was ready to snag a spot to watch the presentation!
The scene was set and the crowd was packed! About 150 people were in attendance for this event!!! All seats were full and this was definitely a standing room only! I was lucky to find a spot right at the end of the runway!

After Elizabeth Tucker, editor of Alive Magazine, introduced the evening and gave a heartfelt message about her involvement in fashion, a representative from COCA was there to tell us about the amazing beneficiary for this event! By the end of the night, the event had raised over $6000 for COCA!!!

LISA FREEDE: I am in love with these large link chains that come in different shades of metal. Perfectly on point for fall accessory trends!
FRANK & EILEEN: Of course, I love the casual comfort that Frank & Eileen throw in your face!
FRANK & EILEEN: We also love the 'permanent wrinkle' in the line's series of button downs...anything to keep me from ironing!
JONATHAN SIMKHAI: I fell in love with the silhouette of this dress and love the black and white choice for color...or lack therof...
JONATHAN SIMKHAI: This dress has been worn by the infamous Kim Kardashian.

When I opened up my gift, I was pleasantly surprised! Normally you win a pen or a sticker...not at Neiman Marcus...you win Kate Somerville! I've already started using the products and LOVE them!
